How To Make Macaroni Cheese
Home made macaroni cheese is healthier for you and your wastage will be less than box bought mac ‘n cheese.
Here are my two favourite mac ‘n cheese recipes for you to try.

Fry the bacon, onion and garlic in a frying pan. When cooked add the tomatoes and other spices. Cook the pasta. Make a cheese sauce by melting a matchbox size of butter in a saucepan. Add a tablespoon of flour; pour in 2 cups of milk. Stir well until thickened. Remove from heat add ½ grated cheese. Stir until melted. Put the bacon mixture in the base of a large oven proof dish. Spiral pasta Cook the required amount of pasta according to the directions on the pack. Use plenty of boiling, salted water. Finely chop the onion. Remove the rind from the bacon and discard. Chop the bacon. Place the onion and bacon in a deep saucepan and sauté until the bacon is cooked and the onion transparent. If the bacon is lean, you will need to add some oil. Sprinkle in the flour then gently add the milk, stirring to combine it with the flour/fat mix. Add a cup of grated cheese and the cayenne. Simmer until it is bubbling, stirring with a wooden spoon.
