Learning how to make cheese is a great homesteading skill as it is an ingredient for so many meals.
First you need to make a large batch of yoghurt
Take the yoghurt and hang in a fine weave clothe for the whey to drip off. This can take a couple of hours.
Voila – cream cheese – divine for cheese cake or dips. Mix with some avo or spring onions or pepper dews on toast!
This cream cheese doesn’t last long in my home!
