Composting

Instead of throwing away your kitchen scraps e.g. Vegetable peels, egg shells, tea bags, coffee grounds etc, compost them and use the compost in your garden. We have reduced the amount of our rubbish enormously and are saving on refuse bags too!

Bury Your Compost
by: Sharon

If you don’t have a compost bin or worms just bury the scraps in the garden itself. We buried our scraps for years. The worms do the work for you right there.

You don’t even really need to bury very deep. We started a compost pile but honestly I kinda liked just burying.

A+ for composting!

You are right, composting also saves money as when you plant your veggies next season you don’t need to buy compost from your garden centre.

Womeries are right up there for composting scraps too!
